SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment installations and commissioning’s at client locations
• Perform preventative maintenance on installed equipment at client locations as required
• Diagnose errors or technical problems on CNC equipment and determine proper solutions
• Manage and perform all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks with minimum supervision
• Produce timely and detailed service reports and document processes
• Cooperate with technical and sales teams and share information across the organization
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations / briefings
• Build positive relationship with customers

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience in Related Field, Skills, etc.):

• Proven field service experience with focus on CNC machinery
• Highly self-motivated and self-directed
• Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
• Able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
• Good working knowledge of the metric system
• Computer skills (Microsoft office suite) required
• Valid U.S. driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications (Certificates, Training, Licenses, and Experience):

• Experience with Schneider controls (ELAU), Siemens (TIA) and servo drives
• Good knowledge and background in corrugated board converting industry
• Associates degree in engineering or relevant field
• German and/or Spanish language skills
